ABOUT ME

Hi there!

 

Welcome to AJ & Co Interior Design. 

 

My name is Ashleigh and I am the face, brains and chief of everything behind this little biz. After having my my first child I took a step back and did a little reassess of my life and what was important to me. I’d worked in Marketing and PR for almost 10 years and while I really enjoyed the creative side of it, I was not built for corporate life. I decided to follow my creative passion and studied a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration from CATC Design School in Sydney. 

 

Fast forward a nearly 9 years and two more babies, I am working in a space that I absolutely love. I get to work with amazing clients, turning houses into homes and helping to create new spaces that they and their families get to enjoy forever. 

 

My passion lies in the design of a project from the ground up. I truly believe that by having a designer involved from the very start of a project, whether in collaboration with your architect or as their own entity, that project will be elevated to another level. Pillows and cushions are nice but the true hero of any space are the ‘bricks and mortar’ that make it.
